The governors of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Rhode Island have started a task force to figure out how to re-open society after the coronavirus closures. They did not name any specific dates for re-opening schools or businesses or ending social distance rules that are now in place, but say it will begin in a matter of weeks.

Gearing up for the eventual restart to the economy took center stage at today’s Albany County coronavirus briefing.

COVID-19 was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China and has now been detected in 37 locations across the globe, including in the U.S., according to the CDC.
