A fire tore through a lodge at the Whiteface Mountain Ski Area over the weekend.
According to ski mountain operators, a fire was reported at Whiteface’s Mid-Station lodge at 9 p.m. Saturday.
Nobody was injured in the structure fire. The ski mountain opened Sunday without any delays.
As posted on the Whiteface Twitter feed, operators thanked the “quick action” of staff and the Wilmington and Upper Jay Fire Departments.
