Education Secretary Dan French says Vermont will be able to safely open pre-K through 12 schools to in-person instruction in the fall.
Secretary French said in many cases the COVID-19 crisis "has been an education emergency.”   “We are committed to reopening our schools for in-person instruction so we can meet the educational needs of our students and begin to assess the impact this emergency has had on their learning.”

French said safety measures and guidelines will be published next week and will  include  temperature screenings for students and staff.  Facial coverings must be worn by staff and students will be encouraged to wear them.
