Vermont State Police are investigating the death of a man discovered Sunday as a homicide.
Late Sunday afternoon the body of 49 year old Greg Davis was discovered near the edge of a road in the town of Barnet. Preliminary autopsy results released Monday afternoon found the cause of death due to multiple gunshot wounds to his head and torso.
Police say the death is a homicide. Investigators believe it was not a random incident and are seeking information on any suspicious activity near Hawkins Road, Peacham Road or in the Danville area over the weekend.
