A Vermont inmate has died at the Camp Hill facility in Pennsylvania.
Officials say 63-year-old Michael Senna was found unresponsive in his cell on Saturday.

The Burlington Free Press reports he's the third inmate to die in Pennsylvania since Vermont began sending inmates there in June of 2017. A fourth inmate imprisoned in Pennsylvania died nearly two weeks after coming back to Vermont. VTDigger.org first reported on Senna's death.

Amy Warden, a Pennsylvania Corrections Department spokeswoman, says staff and EMS were unsuccessful in reviving him and an autopsy is being performed.

The death comes during a statewide prison lockdown amid fears that inmates and staff were exposed to drugs or an unknown substance that sickened some.

Vermont is moving the roughly 228 out-of-state inmates to another facility next month.
