New campaign finance reports show that the four candidates for Vermont governor are raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for their campaigns.
Tuesday was a filing deadline for Vermont political candidates. Currently there are two gubernatorial candidates seeking each of the Democratic and Republican nominations.

The report of Democratic hopeful Matt Dunne showed he has raised almost $570,000 in cash and contributions as part of his effort to win his party's nomination to run for governor in the November election.

Dunne's competitor for the Democratic nomination, former Transportation Secretary Sue Minter, has raised just under $488,000.

Republican businessman Bruce Lisman has raised about $625,000. Republican, Lieutenant Governor  Phil Scott, has raised about $414,000, including almost $95,000 he carried forward from earlier campaigns.
