Vermont Continues Gradual Openings With More Outdoor Workers

Vermont Statehouse-Coronavirus

The state of Vermont is taking another small step toward reopening the state's economy by expanding the number of people who may work in certain jobs from two to five as long as the workers stay at least 6-feet apart.
Gov. Phil Scott said the update to the state’s emergency declaration also allows in-person shopping at outdoor retailers such as greenhouses and garden centers but is restricted to a maximum of 10 people.   “I know some will think this is too much and there are others who will think this is not enough. But I continue to make this pledge to Vermonters: We will take a careful and measured approach with health as the number one priority.”
