Police say an upstate New York man has been arrested and is accused of making threats against employees at two federal agencies.

New York State Police say Saturday that 58-year-old Charles Heimerdinger was arrested on charges of making a terroristic threat.

Authorities say Heimerdinger is accused of making threats against employees at the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Albany.

Police did not provide any details about the nature of the threats.

Records show Heimerdinger, who lives in Edinburg, is being held Saturday night at the Albany County Jail.

It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney who could comment on his behalf.
