WAMC photo by Dave Lucas

Albany police are investigating three separate shootings.

Three people suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, all reported to police after they checked in at area hospitals. Friday afternoon a 16-year old male checked in at St. Peter's after being shot in near Beverly and Pennsylvania Avenues. In the wee hours of Saturday a 51-year old man showed up at Albany Med with a gunshot wound to the arm.  Later,  Albany Memorial notified police  a 28-year old male  had  entered  their E.R. with a gunshot wound to the leg, shot in the area of Broadway and Lawn Avenue. Anyone with information is asked to contact police, who say they don't know if the shootings are connected.
