The Clinton County Health Department Friday night reported the third case of COVID-19 in New York’s north-easternmost county.
The Health Department says the third case is a woman in her thirties who had been in direct contact with the second confirmed case in the county. She is quarantined at home and health officials are beginning contact tracing.
Public Health Director John Kanoza said he anticipates the number of cases in the region will continue to increase. Neighboring Essex County had confirmed one COVID-19 case as of Friday.
