State Police Raid Town Muni Building

People in a Greene County town are scratching their heads after state troopers swooped in on the municipal building.

Officials are tight-lipped over what happened in Windham Friday morning – state police investigators descended on town hall at 371 State Route 296  in the hamlet of Hensonville - arriving as offices opened around 8:30. Observers say they confiscated computer equipment. State Police in Middletown, from where the raid reportedly was planned and launched, had no comment. Green County acting District Attorney Charles Bucca says the ongoing investigation prohibits him from commenting at this time
