SPAC Details 2019 Classical Season

The New York City Ballet, Philadelphia Orchestra, and Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will all be returning to Saratoga Springs this summer. Saratoga Performing Arts Center has released details of its upcoming season.

SPAC says the New York City Ballet’s stay from July 16th to 20th will feature four distinct programs.

The Philadelphia Orchestra will remain at SPAC for a three-week residency beginning July 31st with 19 SPAC premieres and the return of the popular Cinema Series. Yannick Nézet-Séguin, Music Director of The Philadelphia Orchestra and Music Director of The Metropolitan Opera, will hold the baton in Saratoga for two weeks and will lead the orchestra’s all-Mozart finale on August 17th.

The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center will return from August 4th to 20th. The stay will feature 23 works never performed by CMS at SPAC before.
