Policing With Chief Hawkins And Sheriff Zurlo 4/13/21

Today we discuss policing wth Albany Police Chief Eric Hawkins and Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo. WAMC's Ray Graf hosts. 

Albany Police Chief Eric Hawkins began his career in the Michigan Police Department in 1990. He earned a Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Central Michigan University, and an Associate’s in Business Administration from Oakland Community College. Chief Hawkins was sworn in as Albany’s 25th Police Chief in 2018.

Saratoga County Sheriff Michael Zurlo was elected in 2013. He is a lifelong resident of Saratoga County and a graduate of Mechanicville High School. A former judge of the Town of Stillwater, Sheriff Zurlo has spent more than 30 years of his law enforcement career working for the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office, as a deputy, sergeant, lieutenant and senior criminal investigator.
