Pilgrim Pipeline Pitfall

Pilgrim Holdings, LLC

Some new developments with the Pilgrim Pipeline:

The pipeline would cut through several counties, moving crude oil from Albany to New Jersey.
According to published reports, a town of Saugerties official said Pilgrim Pipeline failed to demonstrate that it was applying for required state permits and that it failed to show if it was complying with regulations under the New York State Environmental Quality Review Act.

A "public information session" that had been scheduled the same day with Pilgrim officials was cancelled over a disagreement about the meeting format that would have given equal time to both sides of the pipeline debate.
