Here is NewsChannel 13 Meteorologist Paul Caiano's WAMC Regional Forecast:

Sunshine giving way to increasing clouds today, with rain and snow moving in toward dark. Highs in the mid-to-upper 40s.  

Snow tonight. Lows in the lower 30s. The steadiest snow will be in the Catskills, Taconics, Berkshires and Litchfield Hills where 3-5 inches of snow is possible by Saturday morning. In the southern Adirondacks, the Mohawk Valley west of Amsterdam, southern Vermont and the Pioneer Valley 2-4 inches will fall. In the central Adirondacks, central Vermont, the Greater Capital District, and parts of northern and western Connecticut, 1-3 inches. And for the northern Adirondacks, northern Vermont, the lower Hudson Valley and lower Connecticut Valley a coating of up to 2 inches is likely. 

Leftover light snow showers on Saturday morning will give way to partly sunny skies. Highs near 50.
