Park Playhouse And The Palace Are Side By Side

There is a special benefit for the Palace Performing Arts Center & Albany's Park Playhouse taking place on Thursday, May 29th.

Side By Side By Sondheim honors the genius of one of Broadway's foremost composer-lyricists. The showcase is an array of songs from Sondheim's hit shows includes: Company, Follies and A Little Night Music to name a few, plus collaborations with Leonard Bernstein (West Side Story), Jule Styne (Gypsy) and Richard Rodgers (Do I Hear a Waltz?).

Simple staging, a small cast and two pianos allow the songs to shine. To tell us more, we welcome Sean Allen, Director of Marketing for the Palace Theatre in Albany and Owen Smith is the producing Artistic Director of the Park Playhouse.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
