A Clinton County legislator has lost a race for town supervisor by one vote.
On election night Area Three Legislator Democrat Sam Dyer was 25 votes behind Republican Norm Davis in the race for Beekmantown Town Supervisor.

The Plattsburgh Press Republican reports that when absentee and affidavit ballots were counted on Wednesday Dyer lost by one vote.  One ballot for Dyer was disqualified.

Dyer has congratulated his opponent and will continue serving his term as a county legislator.
