The New York State Thruway Authority on Wednesday announced the formation of a toll advisory panel for the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge, where rates are frozen through 2020.

The new panel is charged with reviewing toll rates, potential resident and commuter discount programs and commercial vehicle rates on the bridge that connects Rockland and Westchester Counties. Panel members are Robert Megna, former Thruway Authority executive director and current chief operating officer for the State University of New York; Westchester County Director of Operations Joan McDonald, a former state Department of Transportation commissioner; President and CEO of the Business Council of New York State Heather Briccetti; and AFL-CIO President Mario Cilento. The panel will listen to public comment via two sessions:  in Westchester, July 17, and in Rockland, July 18.
