A state assemblyman says he's concerned that a planned casino in Schenectady could place financial burdens on a neighboring town.
Assemblyman James Tedisco says the town of Glenville will be across the Mohawk River from the Rivers Casino and will have to deal with more traffic congestion. Tedisco has asked Gov. Andrew Cuomo to consider more highway funding for Glenville to compensate local taxpayers.
Glenville is in Schenectady County, which will get a share of tax revenue from the casino.
