Norwich University Gets $2.3M Cybersecurity Grant

The city has not revealed the type of ransomware it was infected with, if it knows who was behind the attack, or where it originated from.

Norwich University has received a $2.3 million federal grant to help with cybersecurity education.

Norwich University’s Applied Research Institutes has partnered to develop training products on cybersecurity with the Criminal Justice Institute of the University of Arkansas System; the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service; the University of Memphis; and the Center for Infrastructure Assurance & Security at the University of Texas at San Antonio.

The products include web-based training programs on cybersecurity, blended mobile training programs, comprehensive cyberterrorism defense courses and web-based training modules and podcasts.
