The city of Plattsburgh plans to begin live streaming of City Council meetings.
City officials planned to test the new streaming system during the Thursday work session of the city council.
Mayor James Calnon noted that it’s part of the city’s effort to enhance transparency. Meeting documents are already posted on the web.
If the test stream is successful all council meetings will be broadcast on line in real time and an archive of meetings will be available on You Tube.
