New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is coming to Vermont where he will speak at the state Republican party's "Welcome Winter Gala."
The Dec. 11 event is being hosted by Lt. Gov. Phil Scott and Rep. Heidi Scheuermann.
The Burlington Free Press is reporting that the tickets cost $50 per person, with a $1,000-per-couple private reception.
The event will be held at the Champlain Valley Expo in Essex Junction.
On Tuesday, Christie defeated Democratic challenger Barbara Buono to win his second term as governor.
Christie is considered a possible 2016 presidential candidate.
