Moran Describes Goals If Elected Northern Berkshire Register Of Deeds

Deborah Moran.

While the Berkshire District Attorney race has gotten most of the attention this election season, other contested races will be settled Tuesday. One of them is the campaign for Register of Deeds in the Northern Berkshire District, based in Adams, Massachusetts. With incumbent Frances Brooks not seeking re-election, two candidates are standing for the seat. We’ll meet them today and tomorrow. First, WAMC speaks with independent candidate Deborah Moran.

Josh Landes has been WAMC's Berkshire Bureau Chief since February 2018, following stints at WBGO Newark and WFMU East Orange. A passionate advocate for Western Massachusetts, Landes was raised in Pittsfield and attended Hampshire College in Amherst, receiving his bachelor's in Ethnomusicology and Radio Production. His free time is spent with his cat Harry, experimental electronic music, and exploring the woods.
