MCLA Introduces New Tuition Rate For New England Students

The Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts in North Adams, Massachusetts is introducing a new tuition rate for students from New England.

The college will now offer students from New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Connecticut, and Rhode Island a reduced regional rate. Gina Puc is MCLA’s Dean of Enrollment Management and Community Relations.

“So since MCLA is a public institution, we’re part of a group of institutions that report through the New England Board of Higher Education, and they’ve undergone some policy changes and now MCLA is able to offer an 85% tuition reduction to any resident applying to MCLA from New England. So this is an average savings of about $8,400 a year.”

New York and New England residents currently pay around $11,500 a year for tuition. The new rate will go into effect for the Fall 2020 semester.
