Massachusetts Voters To Decide Numerous Primary Races

Voters in Massachusetts will decide several primary races today.

Democrats Bob Massie and Jay Gonzalez are facing off for governor. Republican Gov. Charlie Baker faces a challenge from Scott Lively as he seeks a second term.

Democrats will also decide between longtime Secretary of State Bill Galvin and Boston City Councilor Josh Zakim.

Democratic Attorney General Maura Healey and U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren are running unopposed.

Republicans Geoff Diehl, Beth Lindstrom and John Kingston are facing off to challenge Warren in November.

Congressman Richard Neal of the first House district is in a Democratic primary against Springfield attorney Tahirah Amatul-Wadud.

State Senator Adam Hinds, who represents the Berkshire, Hampshire and Hampden District, is facing a Democratic challenge from Lee Selectman Thomas Wickham. 

In Berkshire County, Tuesday marks the end of a contentious three-way Democratic primary between District Attorney Paul Caccaviello, Andrea Harrington and Judith Knight.

Polls across the state are open until 8 p.m.
