MIDDLETOWN – The City of Middletown will become home to an indoor sports complex.
A couple has purchased a large old factory building at the corner of Union and Franklin streets. Mayor Joseph DeStefano said renovations are to begin shortly.
“It’s a pretty big building, but I guess indoor soccer, indoor football and indoor sports have become a big thing in the northeast up here now,” he said.
DeStefano said the facility will add to the growing number of people who are coming into Middletown.
