Ideas Matter - NEH’s 50th anniversary and the Common Good

We are very happy to continue our regular feature – Ideas Matter: Checking in with the Public Humanities. It is our chance to check in with the Humanities Councils throughout our 7-State area to discuss important ideas and why they do indeed matter.

Today we check in with William "Bro" Adams, the Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities and speak with him about his new initiative to use humanities as the civic toolkit for working towards the Common Good.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
