Erin Coe will return to the art museum as director Charles Guerin steps down.
Coe, who previously served as curator at the Hyde, spearheaded a 2013 exhibit featuring the paintings of Georgia O’Keefe.
Hyde Board Chair Tenee Casaccio said Coe is returning at an important time.
“Having a new director and one that comes to the job with such energy and enthusiasm seems just appropriate and exciting,” said Casaccio
Coe left the museum in 2014 to complete her doctoral degree at Boston College. She will return to the Hyde in July.
