Earlier this week, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick announced he and members of his administration will travel to Panama and Mexico from March 17 to March 22. Patrick says the commonwealth’s energy, biotech and economic leaders will look to build upon and expand connections to South America.
“One of the things every governor should be doing, and certainly I’ve been trying to do, is grow opportunity,” the Democrat said. “That includes building our connections to commercial opportunities around the world.”
As governor, Patrick has traveled to Israel, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Chile and Columbia. He most recently returned home from a trip to Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore last December.
