Global Partner's Community Meeting Tonight In Albany

Facebook

Another community public information session to discuss Global Partners’ application to modify its existing air permit is being held tonight in Albany.

Representatives from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Global Partners and Canadian Pacific will be at Greater St. Johns COGIC at 74 Fourth Avenue, to provide citizens with information and answer questions regarding their proposal to heat crude oil near the Port of Albany. The meeting runs from 6 to 8pm.  Residents of Albany's South End neighborhoods have been cool to the idea, they've previously expressed concerns about air pollution and rail safety.
