Former Mass. Gov. Patrick To Speak At Williams College Commencement

Former Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick will be one of five speakers marking Williams College’s commencement in June.Patrick, a two-term governor, did not seek reelection in November. Now a visiting fellow at MIT, the Democrat is also doing consulting work for the group looking to bring the 2024 Olympics to Boston. Patrick will speak Saturday while Xerox chair Ursula Burns will be the main commencement speaker on Sunday, June 7th.

Others receiving honorary degrees from Williams during commencement weekend include Nobel Prize-winning chemist Mario Molina, writer Gish Jen and author and commentator Frank Deford of NPR and Sports Illustrated.
