Clearwater Festival Updates Its Lineup

The music and environmental festival founded by Pete Seeger has updated its summer lineup.

Organizers of Clearwater's Great Hudson River Revival said Thursday that artists will include David Crosby, Los Lobos, Citizen Cope and Kate Pierson of the B52s. Previously announced musicians include the Blind Boys of Alabama and singer-composer-producer Toshi Reagon, who've both performed at the White House. Fans also will get to see the Klezmatics; folk pioneer Tom Paxton; country-Latin group The Mavericks; and Guster, to name just a few. Seeger started the festival more than 40 years ago as a fundraiser for the environmental group Hudson River Sloop Clearwater. All seven stages are powered by solar or bio-diesel generators. The festival will be held June 20-21 in Croton-on-Hudson, in Westchester County.
