Chris Botti Performs With The Boston Pops At Tanglewood On 6/24

wikipedia.com

Chris Botti will perform with The Boston Pops Orchestra (with very special Guest Conductor Lawrence Loh) at Tanglewood in Lenox, MA on Saturday, June 24.

Since the release of his 2004 critically acclaimed CD "When I Fall In Love", Chris Botti has become the largest-selling American instrumental artist. His success has crossed over to audiences usually reserved for pop music and his ongoing association with PBS has led to four #1 jazz albums, as well as multiple Gold, Platinum and Grammy Awards.

Most recently, his latest album "Impressions" won the Grammy for Best Pop Instrumental Album at the 2013 55th Grammy Awards. Performing worldwide and selling more than four million albums, he has found a form of creative expression that begins in jazz and expands beyond the limits of any single genre.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
