New York Gov. Hochul announces "parameters of conceptual" budget deal, two weeks after deadline

Capitol Steps at Cranwell Resort

Lets face it, a presidential election year is a very good time to see the award-winning musical satire group, Capitol Steps. Not there is a bad time. Cap Steps has returned to Cranwell Resort, Spa and Golf Club in Lenox for their sixth consecutive summer and will play through now through September 2nd.

The group will draw from their latest album, Take the Money and Run for President! Since the group formed, the Capitol Steps have recorded 32 albums and can be heard a couple of times a year on National Public Radio stations, including here on WAMC.

Jack Rowles and Delores King Williams, two of the cast members from the troupe, join us in Studio A this morning.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
