Candidates File Campaign Finance Reports

Republican candidate for governor, Scott Milne of Pomfret has logged contributions of more than $20,000 for his campaign this reporting period.

Filings for incumbent Governor Peter Shumlin, a Democrat, have not been posted on the Secretary of State website yet. His last campaign finance filing in March showed about $1 million of cash on hand.

Republican incumbent Lt. Gov. Phil Scott of Berlin brought in over $52,000 by the campaign finance report filing deadline on Tuesday.

Dean Corren of Burlington, a Progressive seeking the endorsement of the Democratic Party to run against Scott, locked in more than $19,000. Corren has also qualified for public financing.
