Blue Note's Don Was Skidmore's Carr Lecturer

    Widely recognized as one of the best record producers working, Don Was has worked with artists including Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Elton John, Willie Nelson and Brian Wilson. He has earned multiple Grammy Awards including Producer of the Year in 1995. A native of Detroit, Was grew up listening to jazz, blues, and the Rolling Stones.

He presented Skidmore College’s annual Carr Distinguished Interdisciplinary Lecture on Monday, April 1.
