The Best Of Our Knowledge #1285

Stanford University

I love road trips! Last month I hit the road and ended up in Silicon Valley at the Association of Health Care Journalists annual conference where I had the chance to speak with educators and authors about the latest in medical education.

Today on the Best Of Our Knowledge, I’ll share some of those conversations with you. First up is the Dean of the School of Medicine at Stanford Universitywho will update us on they are teaching doctors how to work well with others.

Then we’ll hear from theauthor of a new book that explains how “big data” is becoming a big factor in the world of medicine.

And we'll spend an academic minute asking if you really need 10 thousand hours of training to perfect a practice.
