Basilica Hudson: Season #3 Opening

Basilica Hudson

The Basilica Hudson, part of a citywide renaissance that has taken hold in recent years, is kicking off its third season .  Artist-owned and operated since 2010, Basilica Hudson is a reclaimed 19th century factory converted into an art, performance, production and event space located next to the Amtrak station on the town of Hudson's waterfront.

Creative Director Melissa Auf der Maur, known best for her days in the alternative rock bands Hole and the Smashing Pumpkins, says Basilica is gearing up for a new and busier season than ever.

Hudson has been growing in popularity as a culinary destination...  Jeff Gimmel is owner and chef of Swoon kitchen bar, and creator of the Ramp Fest - borne of idea he had about three years ago.

The Ramp Fest is Saturday, May 4th from noon-4 p.m.

Bryan Welch is co-director of Basilica's resident education team, Kite’s Nest, a group of people committed to creating an extraordinary environment for children to work, play, and grow by way of summer programming along with evening and weekend events.

Melissa Auf der Maur wants New Yorkers from all across the state  to discover Hudson.
