Back To School Clothing Giveaway Today In Albany

An Albany church is holding a back-to-school clothing giveaway today.

Families in need are invited to Livingston Park in the Arbor Hill/West Hill neighborhood. Pastor Charlie Muller says Victory Church of Albany is holding a back-to-school clothing giveaway for children and teenagers.   "We're going to be giving out new sneakers and school clothing for anyone that's in last minute need for their children or their teens."

Muller says the church waited until right before school begins.  "If you know somebody that's in need have them come out to the Livingston Park will have everything laid out on tables.  We’ve  waited Tuesday as school starts in some places Wednesday Thursday or Friday, but we're going to be giving the clothing out  from 12 to 6 p.m."
