The Arkell Museum at Canajoharie

From Giverny to the Brooklyn Bridge: American Impressionist Paintings from the Arkell Collections is currently on display atThe Arkell Museum in Canajoharie. The exhibition features remarkable American Impressionist paintings - sun-dappled views of France and America by Childe Hassam, John Twachtman, Theodore Robinson, J. Alden Weir, and Edward Redfield are among the notable paintings in this exhibition.

There is a curator’s talk about the exhibition this weekend.

Museum Director and Chief Curator, Diane Forsberg, and Library Director, Leah Lafera join us now to talk about that and other goings-on at The Arkell.

Joe talks to people on the radio for a living. In addition to countless impressive human "gets" - he has talked to a lot of Muppets. Joe grew up in Philadelphia, has been on the area airwaves for more than 25 years and currently lives in Washington County, NY with his wife, Kelly, and their dog, Brady. And yes, he reads every single book.
