Albany Law School says it has received a $15 million donation from an anonymous donor—the largest gift in the school's history.

Officials say the funds will provide "extraordinary support for the law school and for the life-changing legal programs and services" it provides.

President and Dean Alicia Ouellette says the gift will empower the school to change the world for the better.  "That's 15 million dollars! This gift is by far, by far, the largest gift in the law school's history. It will endow our clinic in perpetuity, renaming it The Justice Center at Albany Law School."

Albany Law was founded in 1851 and has 465 students in its current first-year class.
