WAMC's Dr. Alan Chartock discusses the mounting fears of a Russian incursion into Ukraine and the United States' potential response and President Joe Biden's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic so-far while anti-vaxxers like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. continue to refuse the COVID-19 vaccine.

Dr. Chartock also previews Sarah Palin's libel lawsuit against the New York Times set to be heard in court today and the rise of violent crime being seen in New York City

Dr. Alan Chartock is professor emeritus at the University at Albany. He hosts the weekly Capitol Connection series, heard on public radio stations around New York. The program, for almost 12 years, highlighted interviews with Governor Mario Cuomo and now continues with conversations with state political leaders. Dr. Chartock also appears each week on The Media Project and The Roundtable and offers commentary on Morning Edition, weekdays at 7:40 a.m.
