New York Governor Andrew Cuomo offered a rationale for Hillary Clinton’s candidacy over that of Democratic rival Berne Sanders, saying Clinton’s approach is more practical.

Cuomo, who was HUD Secretary under former President Bill Clinton and who is helping Hillary Clinton’s election efforts in New York, says the former Secretary of State is  presenting ideas that are “more realistic” that could actually be enacted if she were President.

“She’s not putting out the ideal, what would you do if you were the only person, what would you do if you were President and you could snap your fingers,” Cuomo said. “She has both the benefit and the burden of having experience getting things done.”

A Siena College poll finds Hillary , a former US Senator from New York, running 21 points ahead of Bernie Sanders among state Democrats.
