Plattsburgh, NY – The Republican take over of the NYS Senate is being billed by many observers as the latest example of dysfunction in Albany. Supporters of the GOP's coup say Democrats are seeking legal help to thwart a power-shift arrived at through a democratic process. Some political scientists aren't surprised by the blow up in Albany. They say dysfunction like the kind we're seeing in the state Senate is not uncommon. WAMC North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
