Plattsburgh, NY – President Obama today tried to quell concern over the swine flu virus - noting at the end of his cabinet meeting that it may run a course similar to most flu viruses, but agencies are preparing for the worst. Across our region, state and heath officials, schools and agencies are keeping tabs on the progress of the swine flu, which the World Health Organization has now officially designated H1N1.
