Sullivan County, NY – The 2009 Sullivan County, NY government budget would eliminate 50 positions, cut 14 that are presently occupied, impose a hiring freeze, a residency requirement for all new county employees, increase tipping fees at the county landfill, streamline office practices and expenses take the county out of certain areas like Medicaid transportation.
