Hudson Valley bureau chief Susan Barnett spoke with Democratic Congressman Maurice Hinchey, a member of the Joint Economic Committee. He believes the outgoing president's latest action is pure politics .and he thinks an Obama administration could begin an economic turnaround fairly quickly.
