Albany, NY – This week the federal government issued the Oneida Indian Nation over 13-thousand acres of trust land, essentially exempting the land from state taxes and laws. That decision has raised eyebrows up and down the Mohawk Valley, as we hear in this report from Capital District Bureau Chief Dave Lucas.
