Hudson Valley, New York – Experts say it's unlikely that the regulation overhaul announced by treasury secretary Henry Paulson today will be enacted during this Congress. It's expected to be a long debate over a plan aimed as easing fears about the likelihood and the severity of a recession. Hudson Valley bureau chief Susan Barnett spoke to historians and economists looking for some insight into the issues.
