New Ozone Standards Put Rural New York Counties in Non-Compliance

Plattsburgh, NY – The EPA has set new standards for ozone levels across the country that will lower the allowable concentration of ozone in the air to no more than 75 parts per billion, compared with the old standard of 80. Fourteen counties across New York don't meet the new standard for ozone, including some rural and Adirondack counties. WAMC's North Country Bureau Chief Pat Bradley has more.
